DAY BY DAY
Day 1 – First-class salami
The pick-up service leaving from Florence at 4 PM will take you to to Greve in Chianti, where you’ll discover one of the oldest butcher shops in Italy. Traditional method and classic recipes, handed down from father to son throughout the years, are the secrets of the finest salami in the whole peninsula.
Pigs reared in a free environment, spices , aromatic herbs and, of course, a good dose of Chianti: this is what makes Falorni’s salami so unique.
After the tasting and visit, you can go back to your hotel accommodation, nestled in the Tuscan countryside.
Day 2 – Chatting with Bacco
After a sumptuous breakfast, head to Santa Maria Novella station and take a train to Rome.
After arriving in Rome, check-in at the hotel then get ready to meet “Bacco”, one of the best sommeliers in Rome.
You’ll have the opportunity to learn about innovative wines and foods, sourced from exceptional local producers around Italy.
Just remember to save some appetite for Neapolitan “ trippa” the day after!
Day 3 – Naples
Time to leave the eternal city and move towards the chaotic and lively Naples.
A private car will take you directly to the hotel. Take a stroll down Via Pignasecca, one of the most vibrant food markets in Italy, and look for “Tripperia Fiorenzano”: here, in a tiny and immaculate place, you will find a specialist tripe shop (“trippaio”), run by the same family for three generations, and you will have the opportunity to taste one of the best tripes in Italy.
